Joel Berman founded Iatric Systems in 1990. His extensive healthcare and technology background combined with his education have resulted in innovative HCIS software solutions. When asked to share his business strategy Joel will say, “Our strategy is to listen to our customers, to give them the products and services they value and to build trust. We don’t just say this – we live it!”

Frank Fortner is responsible for leading the Application Software Division, overseeing all business functions including: software development, implementation and customer service. With almost 20 years in the hospital IT marketplace, Frank has earned a reputation for carefully listening to the needs of customers and consistently solving problems with leading edge, cost-effective software solutions.

Ed Bishop, the operational leader of the Application Software Division, has over 20 years experience in the MEDITECH HCIS market. His wide variety of roles over this time have instilled in him an ability to listen to the user community and design and implement solutions that address their needs in a cost effective way.

Janet Clarke has been a registered nurse for twenty-five years and has extensive clinical experience in Pediatric & Adult Intensive Care, Obstetrics & Newborn Nursery, and Post-Anesthesia Care. She recently finished her graduate degree in Nursing Informatics. Janet worked as a Lead Nurse Informaticist at a MEDITECH MAGIC hospital before joining Iatric Systems as a Clinical Marketing Specialist to help us develop, support, and demonstrate clinical applications.

Michelle Schneider has been a registered nurse for 22 years. She supports clinical applications and helps with developing new ones, in addition to giving demonstrations of how these applications work. She is a self-proclaimed medication reconciliation geek and she is very passionate about all things patient safety. Michelle is intrigued by clinical workflow and design and welcomes the challenge of automating hospital processes.

Mike DeVoe has been scripting MEDITECH applications since 1991, when he wrote the first version of Scriptlink to automate MEDITECH day-close processing. Since the original version, Mike has grown Scriptlink to cover “everything MEDITECH” including all forms of MAGIC emulation as well as C/S and FOCUS. Mike continues to evolve Scriptlink to meet the needs of the MEDITECH community and beyond.
